Fitness Philosophy
“I am an avid yogi who has been practicing and studying the many teachings of yoga for almost 20 years. I started when I was a teenager; I suffer from asthma and was not able to do a lot of the more strenuous sports in high school so my doctor recommended yoga. Of course this came at a time when yoga was not very popular and the only classes you could take were at the YMCA. It took one class and I was hooked! I noticed that I could breathe better and use less medication. So, here I am years later with a deeper understanding and love for yoga.
I decided to become certified after my guru and good friend kept encouraging me to expand my practice by sharing what I know with everyone I meet, so that one day too they will love their inner being as I do now.
I teach a wide range of Yoga from Kudalini breath work to Ashtanga power yoga, Prenatal/Postnatal as well as basic to advance. I like to do an eclectic class focusing on all parts of our body so that when you leave you will have a better understanding of your physical self.”
