General Information

How do I get started?
Complete our Schedule a Session form. There is a section at the bottom for comments if you have any special details or requests to share with us.
What are your hours of operation?
Café Physique operates 7 days a week, and we offer sessions from early in the morning until late in the evening. Our schedules change often, so an exact schedule will be determined once you’re ready to get started and have provided your availability.
How long are the personal training, yoga and pilates sessions?
All of our fitness sessions are 50 minutes long, but we ask that you allow a full hour in your schedule. We make every effort to start and end sessions on time, however please allow a 10 minute grace period for traffic delays and unforeseen circumstances.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
Cafe Physique trainers, instructors and dietitians work on a scheduled appointment basis. Because your appointment time has been reserved especially for you, we require 24-hours notice when canceling an appointment. Given proper notice, you are free to reschedule with no charge. Appointments canceled with less than 24-hours notice are charged at the full non-refundable price.

Locations & Trainers

Where is Café Physique located?
All of our services are 100% mobile – We come to you! Your home, office, or local park are all great places to train.
Which geographic areas do you service?
We service most of Metro Atlanta – inside the perimeter (i.e. Buckhead, Downtown, Midtown, Virginia Highlands, Inman Park, Grant Park) and surrounding suburbs (i.e. Smyrna, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Decatur, Druid Hills, East Point, Riverdale, Snellville, Stone Mountain, Alpharetta, Johns Creek). If you live in another area, contact us to check on availability.
Can I choose the trainer/instructor that I want to work with?
Sometimes. We will certainly try to accommodate your request, but the bios on our website only represent a portion of our certified professionals. In addition, each trainer/instructor/dietitian services a distinct geographic area within Metro Atlanta.
What if I want to switch trainers/instructors?
We work hard to make excellent matches from the beginning, so change requests are rarely made, but we will accommodate your request to switch to the best of our ability. Depending on the nature of your concern, we do appreciate you giving your trainer/instructor the opportunity to rise to the occasion after communicating your preferences. However, we certainly understand that sometimes making an immediate switch is more beneficial.

Working Together

Do you work with children?
We do work with children on a case-by-case basis after having a detailed conversation with the parent(s). When working with children, our goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle, but we will not work with families who wish to single out a particular child with hard-core weight loss tactics.
Do you work with seniors?
Yes, we love working with seniors!
I have a condition that impacts my ability to do certain exercises. Can I still work with you?
With written permission from your doctor, we are able to work with most clients. Be sure to disclose all conditions during initial communication and on your registration form, and let us know how best to work with you.
I’m completely and totally out of shape. Will you still work with me?
Yes, that’s what we’re here for. We work effectively with deconditioned clients – even if you haven’t worked out since junior high. We’re up for the challenge!
I am currently pregnant. Is it safe for me to exercise?
Safety for you and your unborn child are the top priority when it comes to exercise during pregnancy. A healthy woman undergoing a normal pregnancy should be fine to exercise, but you should consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

Payments & Packages

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. Payments are due 72 hours prior to all scheduled sessions and can be processed on a secure page of our website.
Do packages have to be paid in full up front?
Yes. We deeply discount our packages and therefore require full pre-payment.
How long do I have to use my sessions?

Single sessions – 1 month (30 days) from the date of purchase
5-session packages – 2 months (60 days) from the date of purchase
10-session packages – 3 months (90 days) from the date of purchase
25-session packages – 4 months (120 days) from the date of purchase
50-session packages – 6 months (180 days) from the date of purchase

Scheduling is the client’s responsibility, so please avoid losing sessions by getting your sessions scheduled within the time allotted for these packages. We truly want everyone to use all of their sessions.

Can I get a refund?
Café Physique does not issue refunds for unused sessions. Sessions that are not conducted prior to the expiration date are considered forfeited. Café Physique reserves the right to terminate contracts for packages in its sole discretion. In case of any such termination, Café Physique will refund any unused funds.

Logistics

How often should I meet with my trainer/instructor?
3x per week is the gold standard for meeting goals in the shortest amount of time, but many clients find that training less frequently is more realistic for their budget and schedule. Most Café Physique clients train 2x per week, but some clients are able to see results meeting once a week as long as they remain motivated to consistently work out on their own between sessions.
Can we workout at my own gym?
It depends on y
our gym’s policy. Most gyms will not allow Café Physique trainers to train in their facility because they want you to use their personal trainers. However, if you belong to a gym that allows outside experts to come in and work with you independently, as many homeowner and employee athletic facilities do, we would be happy to work with you in this way.
Will I get as good of a workout at home as I would in a gym?
Absolutely. With our training techniques, we can recreate virtually any exercise you do in the gym. In fact, you’ll probably find our workouts to be more challenging and effective than any gym workout you’ve ever experienced.
What if I don’t have any workout equipment?
No problem. You’d be surprised at how creative we can be! We’ll bring any necessary equipment with us, and you may choose to purchase some small inexpensive items for your home if you want to replicate the workouts on your own.
