Brush your teeth MORE often. Aside from just fighting cavities, brushing after every meal serves as a psychological cue to stop eating. If you’re out and about without a toothbrush, try popping a strong sugar-free breath mint or Listerine strip.
You’ll be much less likely to indulge in mindless snacking if your breath is feeling minty fresh!
Main Course
If you’re not too keen on carrying a wet toothbrush and tube of toothpaste around in your purse, try pre-pasted disposable toothbrushes. I started using these back when I had braces, and I love them! All you do is run it under the water, brush, and throw it away. It’s so convenient.
Dessert
I have to admit that I was skeptical of this advice when I first heard it a few years ago, but I think it’s really true. I’ve found that brushing right after dinner especially helps me curb the late night munchies because I don’t want to have to brush again before bed.
